Article 1 – Definitions

In these general terms and conditions, the following terms are defined as:

  • Cooling-off period: the period within which the consumer can exercise their right of withdrawal;

  • Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and enters into a distance agreement with the vendor;

  • Day: calendar day;

  • Long-term transaction: a distance agreement concerning a series of products and/or services, of which the delivery and/or acceptance obligation is spread over time;

  • Durable data carrier: any medium that allows the consumer or vendor to store information personally directed at them in such a way that future consultation and unchanged reproduction of the stored information is possible;

  • Right of withdrawal: the possibility for the consumer to cancel the distance agreement within the cooling-off period;

  • Vendor: the natural or legal person offering jewelry and/or services at a distance to consumers;

  • Distance agreement: an agreement concluded under an organized system for remote sales of jewelry and/or services, using one or more techniques for remote communication, exclusively until the conclusion of the agreement;

  • Remote communication technique: a means that can be used to conclude an agreement, without the consumer and vendor being simultaneously in the same location;

  • General Terms and Conditions: the present General Terms and Conditions of the vendor.

Article 3 – Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to any offer by Madison-Jewelry and any distance agreement and orders between Madison-Jewelry and the consumer.

Before the distance agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer. If this is reasonably not possible, it will be indicated before the agreement is concluded that the general terms and conditions are available from Madison-Jewelry and will be sent free of charge at the consumer's request.

If the distance agreement is concluded electronically, the text of these general terms and conditions can be provided electronically to the consumer in such a way that they can easily be stored on a durable data carrier.


Article 4 – The Offer

  • The offer is non-binding. Madison-Jewelry is entitled to modify and adjust the offer.

  • Images and descriptions of jewelry are truthful, but colors may slightly differ in reality.

  • Each offer contains sufficient information so that the consumer is clearly aware of their rights and obligations upon accepting the offer.


Article 5 – The Agreement

  • The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and meets the stated conditions.

  • Madison-Jewelry will confirm receipt of the acceptance electronically.

  • Madison-Jewelry will provide the consumer with order details and contact information for questions, complaints, or returns.


Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal / Returns

At Madison-Jewelry, we believe in the quality of our products and therefore offer a 90-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.

  • Consumers can return items within 90 days of purchase.

  • For subscription products, consumers may return items within 30 days of the billing date.

  • Items should be returned in good condition, with accessories and manuals included.

To start a return:

  1. Email our support team at info@madison-jewelry.com.

  2. Follow the instructions provided.

  3. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email with shipping guidelines.


Article 7 – Costs in the Event of Withdrawal

  • Consumers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days after the returned items are received or sufficient proof of return is provided.

  • Refund options:

    • Refund to the original payment method

    • Refund as store credit (if applicable)


Article 8 – Exclusions of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made jewelry according to consumer specifications

  • Personalized items

  • Earrings and other hygiene-sensitive jewelry once the seal has been broken


Article 9 – Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Items

  • If jewelry arrives damaged, the consumer must notify Madison-Jewelry within 7 days of delivery with a description and photo/video of the defect. A replacement will be sent immediately.

  • If a product is lost or stolen in transit:

    • With Porch Pirate Protection: immediate replacement will be issued.

    • Without this protection: the consumer should contact the postal carrier. Madison-Jewelry cannot guarantee a refund or replacement in this case.


Article 10 – Prices

  • Prices include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices may be adjusted due to legal or tax changes but will not affect confirmed orders.


Article 11 – Conformity and Warranty

  • Madison-Jewelry guarantees that products meet the agreement, the stated specifications, and reasonable expectations of quality and usability.

  • Defects caused by improper use or lack of care are not covered.


Article 12 – Delivery and Execution

  • Madison-Jewelry processes and ships orders with care.

  • Orders will be shipped within the timeframe stated on the website.

  • International orders: successful delivery and customs clearance cannot always be guaranteed. Additional import costs are the responsibility of the consumer.


Article 13 – Payment

  • Payment must be made immediately after placing the order, unless otherwise agreed.

  • The consumer must provide correct payment details.

  • In the event of non-payment, Madison-Jewelry reserves the right to recover reasonable collection costs.


Article 14 – Complaints and Disputes

  • Complaints can be submitted to info@madison-jewelry.com. Madison-Jewelry aims to respond within 24 hours.

  • If a complaint cannot be resolved, disputes will be handled by the competent court.

  • Consumers in the EU may also use the European ODR platform (Online Dispute Resolution).
